This Bell 212, with the former test registration N4471N, was delivered to Sri Lanka in 1983 as CH-542. The helicopter was decommissioned in 1985 and was presumably used at several Air Bases as a display piece or for training purposes. This is former Bell test registration N3202A. It was delivered as CH-548 to the Sri Lanka Air Force in 1985. It was written off in MAy 1986, it serial was reportedly cancelled on 18 August 1988. But... the SLAF decided to repair the helicopter and was rebuild. Assigned to 7 Helicopter Squadron from 1997, reserialled to SUH-4103 in 2010 and became SUH-548 by Mar 2012. Here is is seen during an overhaul by the SLAF Aircraft Engineering Wing. It's tail section was seen too, but it was not possible to get the tail and fuselage in one picture.
