Originally BOAC's G-AWHU then 9Q-CKI, VN-B3415 and 5X-JEF. Ultimately broken up at Fujairah as 4L-GAS

Originally G-AWHU of BOAC and ex VN-B3415 of Hàng Không Viêt Nam, later ST-GLD, 9G-OLF, 9G-ONE, 5X-JEF again, 5X-GLA and 4L-GAS, stored at Fujairah and broken up

Delivered to BOAC in 1968. Sold in 1983 and served with a variety of cargo operators before being wfu as 4L-GAS at Fujairah in 2010.

9G-ONE became 9G-WON by May 1993, but was re-registered 5X-JEF in September 1993.

Making what must have been a rare appearance by a BA 707 at Luton. Perhaps someone will be able to able to supply more details. Photographer not known.

According different source was operated Great Lakes Airways , Uganda from April 2001 - October 2004 and was also only aircraft in their fleet.

The Dutch vegetable import company J.vd Berg signed a contract with the Ethiopian company Maeso Agricultural Estate to import 150 ton's of paprika and green beans. On 13 January 1979 the first Ethiopian flight touched down on Runway 24 but failed to stop before the runway edge, and ended up to 150 meters further in the soft grass and mud. During the night the remaining fuel was drained from the 707 and the 40 ton's of vegetables had to be unloaded by hand due to the soggy ground. The next morning the 707 was light enough to be towed out of the mud. In the evening the 707 was ferried to EDDF.

Built for Saturn Airways as N762U. Delivered to BOAC as G-AWHU in 1968 then to British Airways in 1974. To Air Supply Corporation as 9Q-CKI in 1983, Hang Kong Viietnam as VN-B3415 in 1984 then VN-83415 in 1986. To Tradewinds as G-AWHU in 1989, DAS Air Cargo as 5X-JEF in 1990, Golden Star Air Cargo as ST-GLD in 1991, RACE Cargo Airlines as 9G-OLF in 1991, Gemini Airlines as 9G-ONE in 1992, Imperial Cargo Airlines as 9G-WON and DAS Air Cargo as 5X-JEF in 1993. Sold as 5X-GLA in 2001, 5X-EOT in 2005. N707HT in 2007, EX-120 in 2008 and 4L-GAS in 2009. Stored at Fujairah in 2010. Gone by 2022.

Varig bought this 707 November 4, 1968 after it was built for Saturn Airways but not taken up. After 20 years with the airline, it was sold to the Brazilian Air force. Unfortunately during it's final Varig flight on January 3, 1987, the aircraft crashed returning to Abidjan-Felix Houphouet Boigny Airport, Cote d'Ivoire after an engine fire indication.

Damaged beyond repair and written off at Addis Ababa 25 Jul 1990 after an aborted take-off and runway excursion.
