ex Bu127206, one of 28 Panthers delivered from US Navy stocks (including 4 for spares use) and assigned to the 1a Escuadrilla Aeronaval de Ataque at BAN Commandante Espora from 1958. The type was withdrawn in 1971 and replaced by the A-4Q Skyhawk

This F9F-2 is a Korean War veteran. It was land based in South Korea with VMF-115 & VMF-311. In 1953 it was aboard USS Boxer while assigned to VF-151. Acquired by the museum in 1964, it is currently on display in the entrance lobby and is painted in VF-151 markings as worn in 1953.

Owned by the Cavanaugh Flight Museum, this is the only airworthy F9F Panther. This a/c is a Korean War veteran, having made two combat cruises. 123078 is in the markings of VF-721 as worn aboard the USS Kearsarge during 1952 - 1953. It was assigned to VF-151 aboard USS Boxer for its second cruise later in 1953. Restored to flying condition in 1993 by the museum.

Preserved wearing the 1950's markings of Marines Fighter Squadron VMF-311.

This F9F was delivered to the US Navy during October 1950 and assigned to VF-721 aboard USS Boxer where it then saw action in the skies over Korea. It then served with VF-821, VF-51 and various training units before retirement in 1956 with 1,575 hours. Now on display at the Flying Leathernecks Museum in the colours of a VF-311 aircraft flown by Capt. W.A. Bloomer, who years later would become instrumental in helping to establish the museum.

Exhibited in New England Air Museum in the markings of USMC squadron VMA-323. Destroyed in severe tornado there on 3 October 1979.

This F-9 sits in the storage yard of the Yanks Air Museum and waits patiently for her time in the restoration hangar.

This Panther is displayed at the National Naval Aviation Museum in the markings of VF-151. She flew with this squadron in the summer of 1953 on combat missions over Korea from the carrier USS Boxer.
