Delivered in 1949, this F9F-2 flew combat missions in Korea with VMF-311, VMF-115 and from USS Boxer with VF-151, as displayed here at NAS Pensacola where it completed its flying career in a training role

This F9F-2 is a Korean War veteran. It was land based in South Korea with VMF-115 & VMF-311. In 1953 it was aboard USS Boxer while assigned to VF-151. Acquired by the museum in 1964, it is currently on display in the entrance lobby and is painted in VF-151 markings as worn in 1953.

This Panther is displayed at the National Naval Aviation Museum in the markings of VF-151. She flew with this squadron in the summer of 1953 on combat missions over Korea from the carrier USS Boxer.
