FMS serial 63-7774 was delivered to the Israeli Defense Force/Air Force (IDF/AF) as serial 301 (connected to registration 4X-FBF) on 14 Oct'73. At least up to Jul'87, the Herc was known like that, first confirmed with new serial 314 (with registration 4X-FBI) in mid-1990. 314 was then assigned to the Israeli Tactical Transport Division. That division commands the 103 Tayeset "The Elephants Squadron" and the 131 Tayeset "The Knights of the Yellow Bird Squadron". Both squadrons pick their aircraft from a poule. 314 was last reported ops in 2012. Most likely withdrawn from use soon after 2012.

This very rare aircraft, a Vought Sikorsky Kingfisher is one of only a few examples on display across the world. This example is at the Museo Nacional Aeronáutico y del Espacio and is marked as its service scheme in the Chilean Navy.

One very rare bird of which less than ten complete examples survive, Chilean Air Force OS2U-3 Kingfisher 314 is on display at Los Cerrillos. Ex Bu5925.

This 1964 built C-130E was hastily delivered to Israel 2nd hand during the Yom Kippur war in October of 1973. It previously served with the USAF's Military Airlift Command as 63-7774. It was pictured here at the - now closed - air base Lod, back then part of Tel Aviv's international Ben Gurion airport. All of Israel's military transport planes, namely the C-130 and B707 fleet did relocate to Nevatim AB near Beersheba around August of 2008, just a few weeks after this picture was taken. Being an old E version, this airframe has most likely be stored by now.
