60 Squadron Pembroke displayed at the Queens Silver Jubilee show at RAF Finningley.

This Sea Prince was delivered to the RAF in July 1952 as WM735. In September 1980 it became G-RACA and was stored/preserved at Staverton for many years. In May 1989 it was transported to Long Marston, to become part of the Stratford Aviation Collection. That collection had closed by 1994, but the Sea Prince still resided at Long Marston by 2017. The "Godskitchen" graffiti dates back to the Godskitchen Global Gathering, which was held at Long Marston Airfield on 31 July 2004. The photo is a one-second exposure at ISO200, taken at 9.20pm.

Seen on a mound at the entrance to Long Marston airfield, Warwickshire, this is a sad end to the aircraft. Now mainly used as a graffiti board, its former RAF serial WM735 was barely visible under thick coats of paint.

Registered in 8.51 to the Ministry of Aviation, this Prince spent its life as a navaids checker with the Civil Aviation Flying Unit. De-registered in 5.71 and eventually destroyed at the Stansted fire school, where it is seen here in company with one of the Martinair DC-7s (PH-DSO)

Looking immaculate here, this short-nose Prince was delivered to Shell Petroleum in 1950 and flown by famous WWII pilot Douglas Bader before being sold to Venezuela as YV-PAEO later that year. She came back to Britain in 1953 and was used by the Sperry Gyroscope Co, then Decca Navigator based at Biggin Hill in 1961. Registration cancelled on export to the USA in 11.76 and ferried to Van Nuys where she remained in derelict condition as N206UP. Now on private land at Antelope Acres, CA

A long-nosed survey variant of the Prince designated as the 3A, registered to the Percival Aircraft Co in 3.52 as G-AMNT and flown to Thailand in April that year. Carried out survey work for the Mapping Organisation of the Ministry of Defence until 1957

Pembroke from RAF Wildenrath, West Germany, wearing the symbol of No. 60 Squadron on its fin. Delivered in September 1953 and retired in 1987, becoming 8936M. Later scrapped.

Preserved on the original apron on the old Speke airfield located outside the 1938 terminal now in use as a high class hotel.
