A rare Percival Prince preserved in poor condition in Frank Motter's Thunder Air Museum. In the 1960s this aircraft flew for the Decca Navigator Company as G-ALWH. During that time it was named "The Decca Navigator", which is still visible on the nose. Sold to the USA in Nov 1976 and left Biggin Hill, UK on delivery on 23 Mar 1977. It last flew in 1978 and was stored at Van Nuys, CA. It went through several owners without ever leaving there, before ending up in the hands of Frank Motter in early 2009. It was dismantled at Van Nuys in Feb 2009 and trucked to the museum the following month.

Manufactured in 1954 and suffered quite a lot of incidents before being sold to Air America Inc. (not the one that was active in Vietnam). In 1983 it was impounded after it was "leased to people who got in trouble with Federal Drug Authorities". Apparently the Pembroke was an ideal "doper" and sold to the runners for $50.000 each. It could carry a dozen bales of marajuana and the big doors enabled a quick drop on a runway and even the belly doors were used for air drops. After its military life, the aircraft was reregistered N51973. It was seen in 2007 at Essex County Airport in Caldwell, NJ.
