In 1970 she joined what became the FRADU at Yeovilton serving till 1994 when flown to Shawbury for disposal, having become the oldest flyable Hunter in the world in 1983. She was auctioned next year with 9,500 hrs/12,500 landings, ferried to Exeter as G-BWGN in 1996 and moved to Kemble in 2006 and on to Coventry for the new Airbase centre in 2010 (relocated to Newquay 2012)

This two-seat Hunter is of 1959 vintage and was with 4 FTS at the time of this shot but ended up with the ETPS in Raspberry Ripple colours. Bought privately as G-BNCX with a view towards a further flying career but moved from Bournemouth to the Brooklands Museum where it was placed on display. Now preserved at Dunsfold
