This Shack was first flown June 1953 and operated by 240, 204, 269, 210 and 205 Sqdns before conversion to AEW.2 in 1971/2. Withdrawn from service in July 1991 and stored at Coventry, then delivered as N790WL to the US in September 1994. In December 1997 it was flown from Midland, TX to the Pima Air Museum where it now resides, marking the last ever flight by a Shackleton
