In January 1970, the German charter airline Pan International was renamed from Panair. The airline operated four BAC 1-11s, only the oldest one, D-ALAT, carried the original PANAIR titles. - The airframe is still existant in 2020 and was noted at Moron, where it has been preserved since 1993; ex Austral LV-MZM. - slide form the NK collection.

The plane was leased to Marmara Airlines in May 1986 as YR-BCK and returned in May 1987. It then went to EAS Airlines in January 2000 as 5N-ESE and then retired and stored at Lagos (LOS) in May 2002 and subsequently scrapped.
