slide scan from the NK collection. - D-ANUE started its life with BAVARIA in 1972 and was one out of seven BAC 1-11-500s to fly for BavariaGermanair. Finally registered as YR-JBB wit JARO, the airframe was scrapped at Bucharest Baneasa in 2006.

BCAL G-BJRU 1981, JARO YR-JBB 1993, leases to Air Alfa 1994, Astanair 1997, Red Sea Air 1999. Withdrawn Baneasa 2001, scrapped 2006. Appropriately registered D-ANUE lifts off from runway 28. Taking over Bavaria Germanair in 1979 Hapag Lloyd inherited seven BAC 1-11 500 series which would not last very long. Only five were to receive the new colours with D-ANUE and D-ALFA being the last to be retired in October 1981.

On its first day of operation on lease to Air Alfa. The lease ended weeks later in July/94. This aircraft was previously D-ANUE with Bavaria, Germanair and Hapag-Lloyd, as well as G-BJRU with British Caledonian and British Airways. Last noted stored at Bucharest in 2003 and believed to have been B/U by Jul/2006.
