Dropped into Old Warden on the off chance something was happening and was treated to a magical 30-min or so of v-e-r-y slooooow touch-and-goes by this incredible plane.

Vintage Aircraft Club fly-in

A stunning restoration of this 1942 built aircraft. The short landing run was amazing.

Formerly D-ENTE this aircraft is preserved in the Technical Museum in Berlin. The tail at the bottom is, I believe, that of a Ju-88

RAF markings were applied to this aircraft for some reason. They remained covered whilst the aircraft was hangared but were displayed briefly for a special event after most visitors had left and they were removed the next day. It was cancelled as sold in Norway in February 2019 where it became LN-STC

I cannot remember where I saw this magnificent aircraft in 1973, 74, 75 or 76, a genuine Storch rather than an MS built version. It was later preserved in a museum in Kassel but restored and returned to the air.
