Served with 2 Sqn in Vietnam as part of USAF 35th Tactical Fighter Wing based at Phan Rang Air Base (approx 150 miles north east of Saigon). Arrived 05/67. Pinches ejected near Quang Tri, Vietnam at 14,000 ft and 290 kts, suffering various moderate to serious injuries and were rescued 27 hours
