Delivered to the USAF at Soesterberg in early 1980. The Eagle served the Wolfhounds up to 14 April 1992 when it left for CONUS. It was assigned to the 95th FS / 325th FW ('TY') at Tyndall AFB (FL). The aircraft crashed into Gulf of Mexico on 15 March 1993, some 100 miles south of Tyndall, its pilot ejected safely. The wreck was recovered and last seen at Tyndall in January 1996.

Rolling down the taxiway of homebase Soesterberg. This F-15C was delivered to the USAF at Soesterberg on 14 August 1980 and served the Wolfhounds up to 13 September 1990. The Eagle was then sold to Saudi Arabia and received serial 4202 with 42sq. It was in June 1991 assigned to 13sq and from mid-1997 to 6sq with serial 604 and transferred to 2sq with serial 204. In the background aircraft battle damage repair F-105F 62-4417 can be seen. That Thunderchief can now be found as preserved at Hermeskeil (Germany).

The squadron Eagle of the 32nd TFS Wolfhounds, marked as such and its serial is very well chosen. The Eagle was delivered to the USAF at Soesterberg on 14 November 1980 and served the Wolfhounds up to 13 September 1990. The Eagle was then sold to Saudi Arabia and received serial 4217 with 42sq. Was in June 1991 assigned to 13sq and from mid-1997 to 6sq with serial 617 and transferred to 2sq with serial 217.

Delivered to the USAF on 25 Aug'80 and assigned to Bitburg air base. First with the tigers of the 53rd, later with the 525th TFS. In Oct'90, the dual seater was moved to Soesterberg air base to fly with the 32nd TFS ('CR'). This was only for a short period and its tailcode swapped back to 'BT' in Feb'91. First with the 22nd TFS, later again with the 525th. Moved to CONUS in Apr'92 to fly with the 43rd FS ('AK'), then to 1st FS ('TY') in late 1993. Then with the 2nd FS ('TY') from Jan'07, then to the 95th FS ('TY') up to 21 Sep'10. It was transferred on that date to NASA as N897NA.

Delivered to the USAF on 21 May 1976 and assigned to the 527th TFTAS at Alconbury. It served the aggressor squadron up to July 1988 when the Tiger II was moved to the US Navy as 741545. It was assigned to NAS Fallon with VFA-127 as NJ-41. In October 1996, it was moved to VFC-13 as AF-07. The Tiger II was withdrawn from use in 2008 and stripped with Grumman, St. Augustine (FL) for parts. Bort number 45 is seen here with sister ship 01559, both with pumped up nose wheel struts while to other agressors of the 527th are blasting away from the Alconbury runway.

Lockheed built this Starlifter as a C-141A. Its fuselage was later extended and the type became C-141B. By February 2000, the aircraft was modified to C-141C. It was moved to AMARC on 18 March 2005 as as former 445th Airlift Wing transporter. It received inventory code AACR0221. The lifter was scrapped at AMARC by 28 December 2009.

Following a career with the 612th TFS/401st TFW ('TJ') at Torrejon air base (Spain) from mid-1983, theis F-16B was moved to Hahn air base (Germany). It is here seen as such visiting Alconbury for a DACT with the 527th AS. The dual was moved to CONUS to fly with the ANG in 2000. It was assigned to the 186th FS with the Montana ANG. Then stored at Tucson from mid-2001 and it started to fly again with the 195th FS/162nd FW ('AZ') from early 2003 onwards. Stored at AMARG with inventory code AAFG0504 from 21 January 2005.

While banking a little to the left, XV196 (FMS serial 65-13041) is arriving at Alconbury during a logistic flight. The C1 was delivered to the Royal Air Force on 23 June 1967 and assigned to the Lyneham Transport Wing (LTW). In the course of its entire career it flew with this Wing. The Herc made its last flight on 4 September 2013 from RAF Brize Norton to St. Athan where it was stored. Although attempts were made to sell it, the aircraft was scrapped in 2017. A few remaining parts are reportedly moved to Old Sarum (UK) with the Boscombe Down Aircraft Collection.

First flown on 17 August 1988 and delivered to the Royal Air Force on 4 October 1988. First assigned to Leeming ASF, then to 23 Squadron (as pictured), then to 111sq (HJ, sep91), Leuchars ASF, 43sq (GG, sep93), 56sq, 43sq, 5sq, 5sq (with XQ code, may02), modified by BAE, 25sq (nov02), 56sq (FM, aug06), 43sq, 43sq (with GN code, may08), and made its last flight on 7 July 2009 from Leuchars to Leeming where it was stored.. The F3 was scrapped by February 2011. Here is is seen while taking off from Soesterberg during a squadron exchange with the F-15s of the 32nd TFS.

Lockheed TR-1A serial 80-1070 is seen here at the roller of RAF Alconbury when assigned to Detachment 1 of the 95th RS. It was converted to U-2R and in 1995 to U-2S.

What a beauty this aggressor Tiger II is. It was delivered to the USAF on 24 Juni 1976 and was directly assigned to the 527th TFTS at Alconbury. It left for the US Navy in July 1988 and became BuNo 741556. It became AD-32 with VF-45 at NAS Oceana (VA). From October 1996, VFCX-13 took over the adversary aircraft as AF-12. It left for St. Augustine (FL) on 15 November 2005, was stored here and was moved as AF-12 to McMinnville (OR) Evergreen Aviation Museum from 2007 onwards.

Line number 800 made its first flight on 2 april 1969. It was delivred as ZS-SAG to South African Airways on 17 April 1969 and sold as VP-WGA to Air Zimbabwe in March 1980. Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI) took over the seven-oh-seven on 15 October 1982 and it became registration 4X-BYQ. In February 1983, it was redesignated EC707 Re'em and was reregistered to 4X-JYQ with the Israeli Defence Force/Air Force, in September 1986, it became 4X-BYQ with the and became again 4X-JYQ (with IDF/AF serial 242) in March 1991. The aircraft was assigned to 120sq.

Crawling through the forest, getting close to the fence of Hohn resulted in this fine click of 99+11. The Fiat is former Luftwaffe serial D-9607 and 32+49. Assigned to the FDG from August 1982 up to September 1991. It was then moved to Nörvenich for preservation where it was first reported in mid-1993. It was transported by CH-53DG serial 84+22 to Husum where it became an instructional airframe from July 2004. Current status?

J-214, equipped with a target towing pod underneath its left wing. The F-16A carries FMS serial 78-0214 and was Fokker built (c/n L-004). It was delivered to the Koninklijke Luchtmacht (KLu, Royal Netherlands Air Force) on 5 Sep'79. It was first temporarely assigned to the multinational MOT&E team, but later assigned to the F-16 Transitie en Conversie Afdeling (TCA, Transition and Conversion Unit) at Leeuwarden, then swapped between 315sq, 323sq, 312sq and 311sq before it was stored at Woensdrechts air base in July 1996. It was scrapped on 1 October 1998.

Former Luftwaffe serials D-9602 and 31+91 is seen here while assigned to the Flugdarstellungsgruppe. The Fiat operated with this unit untill the end of its career. Was then assigned as a instructional airframe with LVR7 at Husum from August 1990. Current status is unknown.

The Flugdarstellungsgruppe was operating several Fiat G91s, here 99+04 is returning from a mission while the dart installation on top of the wing is empty. This 99+04 is former 30+81, and D-9600. After its military career, it became an instructional airframe at Lechfeld in January 1992, this up to late 1994. It was first seen preserved at Schwabstadl Kaserne in August 1996. It moved to Memmingen in mid-2007, was repainted to its original serial 30+81 and is preserved at the base since June 2010.

Returning to its HAS at EHSB from a Quick Reaction Alert mission. The Eagle is armed with live AIM-7 Sidewinder and AIM-9 Sparrow missiles, and most probably with a loaded M61A1 20mm 6 barrel Gatling canon, capable of firing 940 bullets per minute. In the background Sherpa 84-0462 is seen. This 0017 was delivered to the USAF in Jun'80 and assigned to the 32nd in Jul'80. The Eagle was damaged on 29 Aug'85 in a crashlanding at Sola (Norway) but was repaired. It was sold to Saudi Arabia as 4206 and delivered from Soesterberg on 20 Sep'90. With the RSAF, it was reserialled to 608 and later to 208.

Returning to its HAS at EHSB. This 0018 was delivered to the USAF in May'80 and assigned to the 32nd in Jun'80. The Eagle was damaged on 29 Aug'85 in a crashlanding at Sola (Norway) but was repaired. It was sold to Saudi Arabia as 4214 with 42sq and delivered from Soesterberg on 25 Sep'90. With the RSAF, it was later reserialled to 615 with 6sq in mid-'97 and later to 215 with 2sq.
