Reregistered VH-DHQ in November 1992

Withdrawn from use in 1980 and registration cancelled in 1981. Now with the Queensland Air Museum.

The most stylish Dove to grace Australian skies, with the City Centre Air Taxi Service logo on the tail. Damaged landing at Lovely Banks, Victoria on November 17, 1968. Flown back to Moorabbin where an inspection revealed extensive wing damage. Written off. Displayed at various locations. Parts removed and others added over the years and last reported with components from VH-DHD and VH-DHI. Kevin Kerle photo.

The Aviodrome Dove painted in Martins Air Charter, the first name of the later Martinair. Now on display inside the museum, on stilts over the area that is being redesigned. Hopefully to open soon. Also in the background on ground level a selection of noses/cockpit sections.

Fake registration, is actually N9888A. Despite the sorry state of the aircraft, it was later restored

Low flyby - a superb sight!

Ex XK895. Previously operated by the Royal Navy based at Culdrose, and registered as G-SDEV on 29 March 1990. The registration was taped on for a ferry flight from storage at RAF Shawbury to its new home at North Weald, the only time it was carried externally. It then flew in military markings from Cambridge with private owners before being sold to De Havilland Aviation at Swansea in 1996. She was based at Kemble for a while around 2005 and ended up with Air Atlantique at Coventry. She moved to St Athan in 2018, becoming part of the South Wales Aircraft Museum. Sold to Shackleton Aviation in May 1966, and registration cancelled on 25 August 1966 on sale to Iraq as YI-AEH. Eventual fate not known. (Photographer and exact date also not known.)

Photograph believed to be taken at the de Havilland factory at Bankstown shortly after VH-DHE received its Australia registration. It had been G-AOTE.
