Ex XK895. Previously operated by the Royal Navy based at Culdrose, and registered as G-SDEV on 29 March 1990. The registration was taped on for a ferry flight from storage at RAF Shawbury to its new home at North Weald, the only time it was carried externally. It then flew in military markings from Cambridge with private owners before being sold to De Havilland Aviation at Swansea in 1996. She was based at Kemble for a while around 2005 and ended up with Air Atlantique at Coventry. She moved to St Athan in 2018, becoming part of the South Wales Aircraft Museum. The registration was cancelled on 4 January 2019 as Permanently Withdrawn from Use. Photograph by Peter Gill This photo was added on 9 July 2019, and has since been viewed 1117 times. |
