Short term lease from British Aerospace PLC over the period from 30th August 1987 to 27th November 1987. After a number of subsequent leases it ended its days in Australia flying for National Jet Express as VH-NJV. It was withdrawn from use at Adelaide -West Beach in May 2018 where it was noted being dismantled in early 2019, with the fuselage being trucked to the local recycling plant on 6th May 2019. British Aerospace demonstrator. Registered as G-WISC in 1982 then G-WAUS in 1984 and painted in Air W.A colours. It was never delivered to them and remained with British Aerospace. Reregistered as G-BMYE in 1986. Scrapped at Filton in 1995.

Registered as G-OHAP before delivery to Presidential Airways as N403XV in 1986. Repossessed by British Aerospace in 1989. To Lan-Chile as CC-CET in 1990. Overran the runway into the Beagle Channel while landing at Puerto Williams, Navarino Island, Chile, in 1991. 20 of the occupants died and 52 survived.

Seen ready for Push-back as SN2280 back to Brussels, this morning.

At the time of uploading, the last in-flight photo of this plane that is in the database. Withdrawn from service on 6 March 2022 as the last BAe-146 operated by the Royal Air Force. This airframe was substantially damaged on 29 Jun 1994 when it was involved in an accident at Islay-Glenegedale Airport (ILY/EGPI). The aircraft landed long and overran the runway on landing, piloted by HRH The Prince of Wales as captain. There were no injuries amongst the eleven people on board but the aircraft suffered substantial damage. The aircraft was subsequently repaired and returned to service.
