After it was sold it was soon refitted with a C-47 double cargo door and used for freight work.-EWE was withdrawn from use in 1983 and became a McDonald's restaurant in Adelaide. It was painted in its original registration of VH-AER but the TAA livery applied was later than any it wore with that airline. -EWE is now held on a farm at Karoonda, South Australia.

Originally Air Force 41-18624, this DC-3 was bought by Lambair July 29, 1973 and flown out of Thompson, MB. Sold to Perimeter Airways in November 1981, it was used in 1984 as an engine test bed before restoration to flying status. It is presently owned by Buffalo Airways at the time of uploading.
