Whilst unmanned aerial systems (UAS) are not generally accepted on AirHistory.net this is based, very evidently on the Bell 407. The UAS is capable of more than 8 hrs of operations providing coverage out to 150 nautical miles from a host ship. The Fire Scout is equipped with electro-optical/infrared sensors and a laser designator to find, track and designate tactical targets, provide targeting data to strike platforms and perform battle damage assessment. The USN will add an optical mine countermeasures payload to the MQ-8C in the future. The first ops deployments of the MQ-8C began in '22.

Delivered to the Koninklijke Luchtmacht on 30 September 1964 and retired on 11 March 1996. Here the Alouette 3 is seen over the runway of Soesterberg. The helicopter was sold to Heli-Support Sweden as SE-JCS on 31 October 1996.

Following USAFE service, this F-16A was transferred to the 182nd TFS and later the 111th FIS, both of the Texas ANG. It was moved to AMARC with inventory code FG0394 on 4 Nov'96. It was selected for a lease period to Italy and overhauled at Ogden ALC (UT). The F-16A ADF became temporary MM7256 within the Aeronautica Militare. It returned to the AMARG on 27 Jul'10. It was then selected for the QF-16A aerrial target programme and was taken from the storage depot. It was flown over to Boeing at Cecil Field (FL) by Jun'19 for conversion, it became QF-16A QF-063.

A stretched Herc visited Eindhoven air base after a logistic flight to Poland on sunday afternoon, with near last light. 130606 was delivered to the Royal Canadian Air Force on 21 February 2010. It was assigned to 436sq "Elephants" at CFB Trenton (Ont.). The badge with the squadrons Elephant can be seen just near the entrance door on the forward fuselage.

First flow on 15 June 1960 with Fokker test registration PH-FBO. It was delivered to the Koninklijke Luchtmacht (Royal Netherlands Air Force) on 6 July 1960. The Friendship was withdrawn from use on 26 September 1996. It was stored with Fokker at Woensdrecht and eventually sold to Valitrade on 18 December 1997. It is reported as N32180 and then as an instructional airframe at Subang (Indonesia).

This Hahn based F-16A visited the 32nd TFS "Wolfhouds" at Soesterberg, The Fighting Falcon departed USAFE for service with the 186th FIS Montana ANG, then the 162nd FG Arizona ANG, the 198th TFS Puerto Rico ANG and finaly the 179th FS Minnesota ANG. It was then sold to Jordan as 671 on 26 January 2023.

An unique sight from above, two Koninklijke Luchtmacht (Royal Netherlands Air Force) KDC-10s of 334sq on the platform of homebase Eindhoven. They are both in their original colourscheme. On top of that, T-235 is furnished with 60 years 334sq markings on its tail. T-264 became N264DE while T-235 became N235UL, both with Omega Air

This Fokker 60 made its first flight on 2 November 1995 with Fokker test registration PH-UTL. The aircraft was delivered to the Koninklijke Luchtmacht (Royal Netherlands Air Force) on 25 July 1996 and was soon after named 'Marinus van Meel'. The aircraft was withdrawn from use on 22 October 2007 while deployed to Hato (Curaçao). It was moved to Woensdrecht air base (the Netherlands) for storage with Fokker on 23 November 2007. The Fokker was sold to Peru as AE563 and delivered on 23 February 2010.

The last F-4E Phantom II flight to Soesterberg air base took place on 6 March 1987. Two F-4Es of the 480th Tactical Fighter Squadron were used for this flight. Strikingly, this 74-1048 was a Soesterberg based 32nd TFS "Wolfhounds" aircraft in older days!. This 048 was moved to AMARC on 25 June 1992 and received inventory code FP0868. It was selected for QF-4E conversion, moved from AMARC in March 2001 and flown to BAE Systems at Mojave (CA) in July 2011. It was rebuilt to QF-4E, Lot 9 and shot down while in service of the 82nd ATRS at Tyndall on 16 October 2002.

FSM serial 83117. This F-5F should be coded 30117 but this was not seen on its tail. The Tiger II was withdrawn from use in mid-2013.

The last F-4E Phantom II flight to Soesterberg air base took place on 6 March 1987. Two F-4Es of the 480th Tactical Fighter Squadron were used for this flight. Zero four nine was moved to the 309th AMARG on 19 September 1991 and received inventory code PF0760. It moved to HVF West, Tucson (AZ) on 6 April 2018 and was scrapped.

FSM serial 79-1726, this Tiger II was withdrawn from use in early 2015. It was cool to photograph that close to the runway during a marvelous visit to the air base.

FMS serial 80-0296 seen while taxying to the runway. The aircraft was damaged on 28 August 2006 when it experienced a belly landing at Taitung after its landing gear failed to deploy. The pilots were able to safe the aircraft and the long nose was repaired by the Taiwanese aviation industry.

This Italian Tornado was built as an IDS variant (c/n IS018, but was modified to Electronic Combat and Reconnaissance (ECR) in 1993.

This is really DD+367 which was delivered to the Luftwaffe under the Mutual Defense Assistance Programme (MDAP) with USAF serial 51-1645. The Thunderflash was preserved at Lechfeld Schwabstadl Kaserne as DB+232 and DB+032 earlier on.

This Su-22 was manufactured in 1985 and delivered to the Polish Air Force in that same year. The aircraft is not seen operational anymore since 2015.
