The last F-4E Phantom II flight to Soesterberg air base took place on 6 March 1987. Two F-4Es of the 480th Tactical Fighter Squadron were used for this flight. Strkingly, this 74-1049 was a 32nd TFS "Wolfhounds" aircraft in older days! See picture 529518 in the AirHistory archives. Zero four nine was moved to the 309th AMARG on 19 September 1991 and received inventory code PF0760. It moved to HVF West, Tucson (AZ) on 6 April 2018 and was scrapped.
