Among N109X's roles with Boeing was chase plane. The "SRAM II" titles on the tail refer to a nuclear air-to-surface missile (SRAM= Short-Range Attack Missile). The development program for this missile was terminated at the end of the cold war​.

This last Canadair Silver Star for the RCAF was taken on strength March 24, 1958 serialed 21656. Re-numbered in November 1970, it also performed the last CAF T-33 flight in May 2005 when it was ferried to Mountain View, ON for storage.

This T-33 was just one of many interesting exhibits to be seen at the very friendly Tennessee Museum of Aviation.
