After serving with the USAAF this B-25 had an interesting civilian career as N3507G. Firstly as a fire tanker and then owned (as a camera ship?) by Tallmanz Aviation with 'Catch-22' to her credits. Now she enjoys her retirement on display at the Grissom Air Museum.

This nose section was recovered from the Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland (presumably the rest of the aircraft had been blown to smithereens!). It is slowly being restored at the Museum of Aviation and will eventually be part of a diorama exhibit paying tribute to all the 'Rosie the Riveters' and they work they did.
