The Fighter Collection acquired former Sabena Old Timers Foundation Lysander OO-SOT in late 2024 and it is seen here undergoing restoration at Duxford. This aircraft was built as Mark IIIA, RAF serial V9546, and in 1942 went to the RCAF and was converted into a Mk. TT IIIA target-tug. It arrived in Belgium in 1971 and, after restoration, flew again in 1982. However OO-SOT was severely damaged in a ground-loop at Brussels on 17 July 2001, after an engine failure. It was repaired but did not fly again in Belgium.
