In 2015, this Willow was in a poor condition, covered in dust in the Satria Mandala museum. Fortunately, it since then moved to its new location and now is nicely displayed indoors. During the Japanese occupation of the then Dutch East Indies, Japan delivered these aircraft to the newly established Indonesian AF. In December 1948, however, the Dutch military captured Magoewo airfield and captured all Willows. After the transfer of power to Indonesia in 1949, the aircraft, including this TJ-62, were handed back to the TNI-AU.

Before joining the TNI-AU fleet in October 2004, this 1978 built airframe has been operated by airlines in China, Canada, Cayman Islands, Paraguay, Brasil, Uruguay and finally Indonesia. It was initially assigned to the VIP Skadron Udara 17 at Halim (as pictued here) but with the arrival of additional and more modern VIP B737's, the TNI-AU decided at one point to transfer this legacy airframe to Skadron Udara 5 at Makassar, which was already equipped with three "Maritime patrol" B737-200. Consequently, A-7304 was reserialled to AI-7304 (AI stands for "Angkut Intai" = Maritime patrol).

Repainted in its original colour scheme and serial, the AURI's first Hercules, delivered in 1960 ex 58-0748. Operated by SkU.32 as T-1301 until transferred to Pelita as PK-VHD in 1978, returned in 1982 as A-1301. W/o in a hard landing at Bandung, stored and put on display at the Museum in 2018

Serving from the late 1950s, the type is believed to have been withdrawn c1975. T-414 was displayed at Malang AFB from 2009 until September 2017 when it was dismantled and moved to the museum at Yogyakarta.

This 1978 built Hercules was the 1st "civilian" L-100-30 delivered to the TNI-AU. It was initially assigned to Skadron Udara 31 based at Halim and around the year 2000 transferred to VIP Skadron Udara 17, also based at Halim. SkU 17 is tasked with supporting the transport of Government officials and operates another C-130H-30 serialled A-1341 (c/n 4870) in the same paint scheme. Some five Boeing 737's of different versions are also assigned to Sku 17, while the AS-332 helicopters previously operated by the squadron as well have been assigned to newly established Skadron Udara 45 around 2010.

One of three Jetstars gifted to Indonesia for VIP flights by the JFK administration in 1962. They were operated by 17 Sqdn from Jakarta-Halim for presidential visits to Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam. Displayed in the Garuda Indonesia Training Centre in Jakarta since at least 2001. Its last registration was A-9446, but it reverted here to its previous T-9446 one.

On display at Museum Pusat TNI-AU Dirgantara Mandala. This Invader served with Skadron Udara 1 till 1977 and was the last fully armed Invader in military service. Seen here is its colourful shark nose. The placard by the aircraft states that it was used in Op. Trikora, Dwikora, Samber Kilat, Trisula and Seroja. This one is in fact M-267.

Yokosuka K5Y. Called Cureng or Churen by Indonesians. The name Cureng or Churen comes from the abbreviation of its function chuukan-renshuuki, namely intermediate level training aircraft (chu-ren). Cureng became an icon of Indonesia's physical struggle against the Dutch in the 1945-1950 period.

AURI (Angkatan Udara Republik Indonesia) since 5 October 1971 received seven units of Mustang II (ex ML/Militaire Luchtvaart) and two units of double seats, TF-51D as part of a military assistance program called Peace Pony from the United States Department of Defense. AURI (Angkatan Udara Republik Indonesia) received 20 bomber aircraft from ML-KNIL (Militaire Luchtvaart van het Koninklijk Nederlands-Indisch Leger) to form Bomber Squadron 1 which was headquartered in Cililitan, Jakarta (now Halim Perdanakusuma). The M-458 has been in the collection of the Satria Mandala Museum since 1976 and is one of the large twin-engine aircraft in the museum.
