THis S-3 arrived at AMARG during June 05 and is stored with the PCN/Inventory No. AN2S0084.

After serving previously with VAW-115 this Hawkeye arrived at DM during Jan. 92 and is stored with the PCN/Inventory No. AN2E0021.

This Tomcat is on display at the San Diego Air and Space Museum Restoration Facility at Gillespie Field.

This S-3 served with VS-41 at NAS North Island, CA before being retired to AMARG during Dec. 04 where she is stored with the PCN/Inventory No. AN2S0071.

Operated by HS-1 Helicopter Anti-Submarine Warfare Squadron. Taken in their maintenance hangar with tail units swung for compact storage.

The HD-1 was anticipated as a replacement in the French AF as a replacement for the Nieuport 17 but was thought inferior to the SPAD S.XII. Most of these unwanted aircraft went to Belgium. But the USA ordered a number of the floatplane HD-2 and used them in France. After the armistice, the remaining 10 were shipped to the USA and converted to landplanes, but keeping the higher-powered 130hp engines of the HD-2. They received serials A5620 to A5629. This replica was built by C Swanson.

Early build Skywarrior exhibited on the carrier USS Intrepid in NYC in 1986. It wears the markings of Heavy Attack Squadron VAH-2.

The beautiful old Corsair arrived at AMARG during July 90 and is stored with the PCN/Inventory No. AN6A0370.

This VF-162 F-8 from USS Ticonderoga is on display at the San Diego Air and Space Museum Restoration Facility at Gillespie Field.

This A-7 is now on display inside the Carolinas Aviation Museum.

This F6F was built in early 1944 and went on to serve in the Pacific, mainly in a training capacity. After the war it was converted into a drone aircraft and played a role collecting radioactivity data during the Bikini Atoll atomic test series. It is now on display at the NASM Udvar-Hazy Center.

This A-4 has been restored in this rather basic Navy scheme and is on display at the Joe Davis Heritage Airpark.

This aircraft served with the Navy for twenty years begining in 1967 over Vietnam with VF-113 aboard the USS Enterprise and ending by flying with Blue Angels in their final year with A-4s. Now displayed in the Slot position of the diamond formation of A-4s in the atrium of the National Naval Aviation Museum.

This Skyhawk arrived at AMARG during June 93 and is stored with the PCN/Inventory No. AN3A0707.

A very unusual Trader. This aircraft was built as a standard TF-1 (C-1A), but after leaving the production line in July 1956 it was converted as the aerodynamic prototype for the WF-2 (E-1B) Tracer AEW project. It was fitted with the dual fins of the Tracer and a large dummy aluminium dorsal radome. It first flew as such on 17 Dec 1956, still retaining its TF-1 type designation. The dummy radome was later removed, but the aircraft kept its twin fins and continued to serve as a utility transport aircraft, still designated as a standard TF-1 (redesignated to C-1A in Sep 1962). It was operated as a hack by NAS Cecil Field and a serpent-like Cecil appears on the rear engine cowling.

Operated by the US Naval Test Pilot School in the transport role, based at Patuxent River. Built in 1945 and retired in the 1970's. Later C-GDWZ with Millardair.

This Tracker actually belongs to the Smithsonian Institute and is displayed at least for the medium term on Celebrity Row. She arrived at AMARG in October 1982 and is stored with the PCN/Inventory No. AXLA0001.

This S-3 served with VS-29 at NAS North Island, CA with a last deployment aboard USS Nimitz before being SOC. She arrived at AMARG during Jan. 04 where she is stored with the PCN/Inventory No. AN2S0052.

Latterly operated in the advanced training role by VT-26 Squadron. '5' in the background retains Blue Angels colours.
