A UH-1C which was converted to UH-1M for the gunship role with uprated engine

Delivered as a C-12R to OSACOM in late 1995. Converted to C-12R+, most probably by January 2007, then converted to C-12V by late 2008. All these updates are mostly integrated avionics system upgrades, like glass cockpit and global air-traffic management things.

Between 1996 and 2002 this helicopter was one of two used by the Army Aviation and Missile Research Laboratory, completing 318 flights over 387 hours before reaching the end of its testing career and project cancellation in 2004. Primary planned role for this massively expensive scheme was for the RAH-66 to designate targets for the AH-64. The other example, 95-0001, is held in store by the museum

This aircraft transported President-elect Dwight D Eisenhower on his inspection trip to Korea in December 1952. It was reportedly also used by Jack Benny and Marilyn Monroe on United Service Organizations (USO) flights during that conflict

An early Huey used by the US Army to test various armament configurations. In 1965 it was loaned to Bell Helicopters for test purposes with two Continental T72-T-2 turboshaft engines installed in a module driving a common gearbox under the Model 208 name. After proving the concept of dual engines in the 205 airframe, it was not pursued (until the Bell 212/UH-1N) and around 1966 the helicopter was returned to the Army in original configuration. Now preserved in a diorama depicting a well-publicised photograph from the Vietnam conflict of an air assault landing of the 9th Cavalry "Bravo Blues"

With a little dust storm on the background, this Black Hawk conducted a ground run. This H-60, assigned to B company of the 5th Battalion / 101st Aviation Regiment is normally based at Fort Campbell, (KY).

The OH-58D(I) Kiowa Warrior is equipped with the most distinctive feature of the Kiowa family, the Mast Mounted Sight (MMS). This MMS is a kind of beach ball perched on top of the rotor blades that is equipped with a gyro-stabilized television system (TVS), a thermal imaging system (TIS), and a laser range finder/designator (LRF/D). This five-four-one was built by Bell as a OH-58A with serial 70-15102, was then converted to OH-58D with serial 83-24138. After its Afghanistan deployment it was preserved at Fort Campbell (KY) by May 2022.

This Chinook was delivered to the USArmy as CH-47A with serial 66-00101 and accepted on 9 Sep'66. It was converted to CH-47D with serial 85-24348 and redelivered on 27 May'86. The helicopter then served A/2-159th AVN from Apr'94 to Oct'97 and was transferred to C/159th AVN on 16 Oct'97 up to Jun'03. From 2006, the CH-47D appeared in Afghanistan where it was sadly lost in an accident on 1 Jul'10. It was reported that the accident was not related to enemy fire, no further details known. Parked at the forward operating base Tarin Kowt, Uruzgan. The Apache was once delivered by Boeing to the US Army as AH-64A with serial 86-08977. It was later converted to AH-64D with serial 00-05198 and accepted by the US Army on 31 July 2001. It carries Greek titles on the nose section, "Wild Horse".

Built by Boeing as AH-64A with serial 86-08990. It was converted to AH-64D and received this serial 99-5144. It was then accepted as such on 20 September 2000. The attack helicopter shows some Greek markings on the nose section, it shows a scale and titles possibly refering to "Melas Horse".

Delivered to the US Army as AH-64A 87-00433, converted to AH-64D and received new serial 00-05182. It was then accepted on 15 May 2001. Seen here returning from a combat mission without Hellfires and Hydra rockets. Someone in the field had a bad day...

Built as a UH-1D. Converted to a UH-1V med evac version. Later stored at various locations. At Redding, CA by 2019. Still there in 2022.

Built as a UH-1H. Converted to a UH-1V med evac version. To the US State Department as N379SD in 2008 then to the Colombian Army as EJC-403 in 2009 and to the Colombian Police as PNC-0743. Crashed in 2016 killing all four occupants.

Built as a UH-1D. Converted to a UH-1H then to a UH-1V med evac version. Last noted at Los Alamitos, CA in 1999.
