About to touch down on Runway 23 at its XV Squadron base at RAF Lossiemouth. Carries the pennant of WG Cdr J P Nixon and the crest "MacRobert's Reply". After losing one son in a flying accident, Lady MacRobert lost two sons on active RAF service during WWII and donated aircraft in their memory. One aircraft was a Stirling bomber of XV Sqn, defiantly named "MacRobert's Reply". The Squadron has continued the tradition. The fin stripe is Robertson Hunting tartan.
