Later converted to a CH-3E, and retired in February 1990. Acquired by Carson Helicopters, Inc. with FAA reg. N51014 which expired in January 2018.

Displayed as 49-1122 (an F-86A), Correct serial is 52-5513. The aircraft is ex Korean AF and was initially loaned and later donated, to the USAF Museum. Displayed as 51-2831 (an F-86E) by 1992 and F-86F 51-2910, by 2011. Both aircraft flown by Korean war ace Joseph C McConnell.

This Sikorsky UH-60A was one of the first acquired by the USAF, assigned to the 55th Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Squadron at Eglin AFB, and scheduled to become the second prototype HH-60D Night Hawk combat rescue helicopter, before this program was cancelled. It was photographed with four other 55 AARS' UH-60s in January 1985. It was later converted to a HH-60G with the addition of an advanced combat navigation system, defensive armament and an inflight refuelling boom. It crashed while serving with the 58th SOW/512th RQS, near Angel Fire, NM on May 11, 2005.

The McKinley Climatic Laboratory is both an active laboratory and a historic site located in Building 440 on Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. It was built late in the Second World War and first used as a refrigerated hangar for conducting cold weather tests on aircraft in May 1947. On the day this photo was taken, the inside temperature (as indicated by the large thermometer mounted on the hangar door) was -70F degrees when an unknown aircraft model was under test. In January 1985, MH-60G Pave Hawk helicopters of the 55th Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Squadron were based next-door to the Lab.

This a/c was transferred to the Turkish Air Force in July 1987. It is currently on display at Sahadir Sahin Parki-Tarsus in Turkey. Slide taken by Mr. T. Durham.

This a/c was destroyed in a crash at Butte Canyon, CA. on 12 May 1989. The Radar Intercept Officer successfully ejected but the pilot perished. Slide taken by Mr. Ted Durham.

Ordered by the USAAF as C-47B 44-76486 but delivered to the US Navy as R4D-7 39103 in 1945. To the US Army in 1958. Redesignated as an EC-47J in 1962, an NC-47K in 1966 and an NEC-47H then C-47K in 1971. Preserved at Eglin AFB as AF43-010 by 1986.

This a/c was the first F-4C produced, and spent its active service life being used as a test a/c at both Edwards AFB, CA. and Eglin AFB, FL. It is currently on display at the Edwards AFB Air Force Flight Test Center Air Park. Slide taken by Mr. T. Durham.
