First flight at Renton 5th March 1968, and del. to American Flyers Airline as N12826 April 1st 1968. In May 1971 Icelnadair TF-FIA named "Solfaxi", as their 2nd B727-100QC. in 1976 TF-FIA was repainted to the new Flugfelag Islands livery. October 1979 the new Icelandair ("Flugleidir") was after the merger between Flugfelag Islands and Loftleidir, and rr to TF-FLG. In 1982 TF-FLG was repainted to the new Icelandair livery, with new name "Heimfari". 31st October 1989 sold to UPS and converted for cargo. April 1990 N940UP UPS ship 940, and re-enginged with two new RR Tay 651-54. Scrapped 2008.

Built 1974 as a Tu-154A, later converted to Tu-154B standard. Delivered new to Balkan in 1974 and operated until it was damaged when it ran off runway at Varna May 6th 1992. Balkan flew regular weekly flights mostly to Gardermoen, and this was a rare visit to FBU, and also my first shot of Balkan in new colours.

First flight June 6th 1968 at Renton. and delivered new to National Airlines as N4752 "Peggy". January 1st 1980 N4752 was merged into Pan Am. July 31st 1986 N4752 was tranferred to the European fleet. Pan Am reopened a daily service from LHR to FBU in May 1986,using B737-200s- For winter-season 1986/87 PA upgraded to B727-200s, and it kept using 727s until 1991 when A310s came nonstop across the Atlantic. Seen taxing out for the morning flight at 08:00 to London, while a C-130 is seen inn the background. N4752 was broken up at Miami in March 1993

First flight November 11th 1968 and delivered new to KLM as PH-DNT december 16th 1968. Used by KLM in 20 years until October 1988 when it flew on as N848ML for Midway Airlines until November 14th 1991 when wfu and stored at Maxton Laurinburg Airport, and later broken up there. Seen taxing out for a rwy 234 departure back to Amsterdam. This was my final shot of a KLM DC-9.

Built 1953 as a CV-240 as N73128 for United Airlines. 1960 N5120 rr and converted to CV-340-31by general Motors Corporation. Later converted to CV-580, and became HR-SAX, N9012J, N770PR and C-GKFT. May 15th 1986 LN-PAA for PartnAir, as the 3rd CV-580 in the fleet. Written off in a terrible accident September 8th 1989 in Skagerak, the aircraft had been leased by a Norwegian shipping company: Wilhelmsen for a trip to Hamburg, and all people aboard were killed in the accident. January 1998 repainted to the BA World tails colours with the chinese "Rendevouz" tail design until Decdember 1999, when repainted again to the new BA colours. wfu February 2002. 2003 converted to freighter B757-236(SF) for DHL, from Biovember 1st 2003 opb DHL Air UK. Birmingham Executive Airways started scheduled service to Oslo FBU from Brimingham in 1988, and this was my first shot of the ariline, as it is taxing out for a rwy 24 departure back home.

Built 1971, ex N7631Q and D-IEAW when registered LN-AFA in July 1981 for Ascor Flyservice A/S at Fornebu. Operated until Ascor went bankrupt in May 1991.
