Previously with the now defunct, Lynx Air and seen here in full WestJet paint operating as "WestJet (WJA) 108" to Calgary. WestJet took over most of the former Lynx Air frames with the ones that had yet to be built going to Air Canada.

The WestJet/Sunwing integration is slowly progressing with a handful of WG aircraft now operating WestJet flights. This Sunwing -800 is the first of the NGs to be brought over and seen here arriving from Edmonton as "WestJet (WJA) 169".

Arriving from Madrid as "Evelop (EVE) 6112" on a charter flight. They later departed empty back to Madrid.

QantasLink's 7th Airbus A220-300 seen here departing for Honolulu on delivery as "Q-Link (QLK) 6076" the other morning.

The final Western color scheme before merging with Delta Air Lines. Delivered to Western November 14, 1969 and sold to Faucett Peru December 1988. Tragically, the 727 was lost while returning from a lease to Air Malta. On September 11, 1990 a distress call was heard as it was some 300 miles from Gander, Newfoundland over the Atlantic Ocean, but the aircraft was never found.

N5028E pictured being imported for Rotortech Helicopters, this Hughes 500 would be registered C-GVEB. Sold to Prism Helicopters in January 1987, the helicopter would be operated until it was substantially damaged on March 11, 2012 after a skid sank into the snow landing off-airport at Trading Bay, AK and rolled over. Stored by Westcan Aircraft Sales & Salvage, it was exported to the USA as N49WK. The machine was rebuilt and is current with Flying Z Ranch at the time of uploading.

Registered CF-QOQ when delivered in May 1950, this Beaver later went to the New York Daily News registered N1488V. It returned to Canada as CF-QOQ again in 1962, flying with several airlines in Quebec and Newfoundland. Rebuilt in 1984, it was sold to Bellair in 1985 registered N64396. Sold in 1992, it was re-registered N915MC to a private owner. The floatplane was written off in a crash at Lake Hood, AK on June 7, 2009 that was well documented on video. Rebuilt, the aircraft is current in Alaska registered N70JE at the time of upolading.

Sikorsky S-76C++ C-GHRU spent most of its career with CHC Helicopters International flying on international offshore contracts. Delivered new to CHC in Oct. 2005 and one month later sent to Nigeria as 5N-BIJ. In July 2011, re-registered C-GHRU when assigned to another overseas CHC contract (possibly Tanzania?). To the Cayman register as VP-CHT in April 2016. Shipped Vancouver, BC as VP-CHT (along with S-76C++ VP-CHS) and first seen on May 14, 2019. Registered C-GHRM in July 2019 and cancelled in Nov 2021 after being cannibalized for parts. Hull stored outside CHC's Heli-One hangar at CYVR.

This early serial number Sikorsky S-92A, msn 920022, was delivered new to CHC Helikopter Service AS as LN-OQD for offshore use in Norway. It was then registered to CHC Helicopters Canada as C-FBYI from August 2014 to July 2016 for offshore ops out of Halifax, NS. Returned to CHC in Norway as LN-OQD three months after the global grounding of the Airbus H225 following a CHC crash in Norway April 2016. Registered to CHC's Heli-One maintenance organization as C-GWVO on March 4, 2022 & at YVR by May 2022. Cannibalized for parts to support other CHC S-92As. Stored outside since at least April 2023.

First imported into Canada in 1965 (CF-BWR), this Bell 204B is pictured with Silver Grizzly Timber, who sold it in 1985. The helicopter is current with 49 North Helicopters at the time of uploading.

With Air Canada 1980 - 90, this 727 was sold to Federal Express and converted to a freighter. Withdrawn from use by the end of 2010, it was stored at Victorville, CA and stripped of usable parts. Scrapped by 2013 when the registration was cancelled.

Okanagan Helicopters operated this JetRanger 1973 - September 1983. Sold to Whirlwide Helicopters / The Helicopter Line as ZK-HWD , the helicopter reportedly crashed in New Zealand in March 1990.

This 51 year old Learjet 36, N361PB, was the third off the production line (msn 003) and is registered to Premier Jets of Hillsborough, Oregon. It was photographed arriving at Vancouver International Airport.

As Air Canada retired their 39 strong 727-233 fleet during 1986 - 1993, FedEx acquired 34 of them for freighter conversion. Former C-GAAJ was also converted to a freighter, but went to First Air via Citicorp in July 1994. Withdrawn and stored at Trois-Rivières, OC in 2009, the aircraft was broken up by 2014.
