The final Western color scheme before merging with Delta Air Lines. Delivered to Western November 14, 1969 and sold to Faucett Peru December 1988. Tragically, the 727 was lost while returning from a lease to Air Malta. On September 11, 1990 a distress call was heard as it was some 300 miles from Gander, Newfoundland over the Atlantic Ocean, but the aircraft was never found.

Delivered new 14th Nov 1969 and sold to Faucett as OB-R-1303 28th May 1987. It was re-registered OB-1303 Dec 1988 and leased to Air Malta May-Sep 1990. On its lease return flight it ran out of fuel and crashed in the Atlantic Ocean off New Foundland 11th Sep 1990
