This aircraft was left behind when this airport closed and its deteriorating hulk remained in situ as of early 2025.

Withdrawn from service 17th June 1977 and made the last ever Hastings flight on 16th August 1977 from Scampton to Cosford. Displayed in the RAF Museum Cold War Exhibition at time of upload.

This rare machine was left at Chandler when the airport closed in 2007. It gradually deteriorated and became a graffiti billboard before being vandalised and destroyed in a fire.

It is not know why the aircraft was wearing the distinctive orange and white "Fanta Can" colour scheme used on RAAF aircraft like the Macchi MB-326H and on aircraft used for special purposes, such as the Aircraft Research and Development Unit (ARDU).

Ex-USAF 57-0518. In the course of its USAF career this aircraft had been designated as an RC-130A for photo-mapping duties. This aircraft became XA-RYZ with Aero Postal de Mexico and as of 2025 was still languishing with several other redundant transports beside Mexico City Airport.

Its identity when served for the RTAF is unknown. Thailand Air Force served 221 T-6 from 1948 to 1974

With a DOM of 1979, this S-76 was an early production airframe (test registration N5009V). Delivered new to KLM Helikopters as PH-NZN, which did operate it till around 1986. Next "stop" was Northwest Helicopters (as N9007N), before Heli-Union did operate it as F-GILD and LX-HUD. When pictured here under contract with the Pecten oil company in Cameroon, LX-HUD had already been upgraded to a S-76A+ (Turbomeca Arriel 1S engines). Next stops were w/ the South African Police as ZS-RKE, then as D2-EXG w/ SonAir Angola, w/ EagleCopters as C-FLRQ and finally w/ Jayrow Helicopters as VH-XHJ. Broken up.

This one of the four PD-808 built for radio navigation checking. When the Centro Radiomisure (CR- unit codes) on 1st June 1976 was incorporated in the 14° Stormo, it became the 8° Gruppo. Other than the high visibility painting, it can be noted a typical dual com/nav antenna on top of the fuselage.

Delivered new only the previous week, the latest addition to Ryanair's corporate fleet previously comprised exclusively of Learjets. On approach to Runway 12 for another touch-and-go during a circuit training session at Prestwick, before leaving for Vienna, Austria.
