Built for the USAF as 57-518 in 1959. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ in 1976. Left in 1984 and registered as N9691N in 1986. To Aero Postal Mexico as XA-RYZ in 1993. Withdrawn from use at Mexico City by 1996. Still there in the aircraft cemetery by the NE side of the airport in 2024.

Ex-USAF 57-0518. In the course of its USAF career this aircraft had been designated as an RC-130A for photo-mapping duties. This aircraft became XA-RYZ with Aero Postal de Mexico and as of 2025 was still languishing with several other redundant transports beside Mexico City Airport.

Delivered to the USAF as C-130A with serial 57-518, struck off charge in May 1976 and put into storage at the AMARC facility in Tucson (AZ). After a number of years in storage the Hercules became N9691N in March 1987 with the Military Aircraft Restauration Corp whom later sold the aircraft to AeroPostal Cargo de México in August 1993. Based at Mexico City the C-130 joined another Hercules (XA-RSH) of the same company until both were withdrawn from use at their homebase.

Ex USAF 57-518. Operated with Aero Postal de Mexico circa 1993 to 1996 as XA-RYZ. Last seen stored Mexico City as such in Sep 2009.
