An ex-Royal Navy machine that spent most of its operational life with A&AEE and RAE. It was withdrawn by 10 June 1960, and used for ground instruction as 7703M at RAF Weeton and later at St Athan. Moved to the Museum of Army Flying at Middle Wallop on 24 April 1978. Registered as N9987Q on 30 November 1981 to be displayed as "0020" at the Venezuelan Air Force Museum, but instead it went to Cornwall Aero Park/Flambards in Helston, Cornwall as "WG754/CU-912". When Flambards closed it went to Culdrose to be dismantled and shipped to the Royal Australian Navy museum at Nowra on 16 February 2000.

Ex USAAF 44-76591. Sold in 1969 and became G-AXJU, then 5Y-AKB with Kenyan Police in 1970. Sold again in December 1974 to the USA as N62303, subsequently broken up, and registration cancelled on 28 February 1978.

Photographer unknown. I have read that this aircraft was planned to go to the RAF Museum but instead was later scrapped.

Photographer unknown. After retirement by the RAF in 1975, XL658 became EI-BBY with a company called Interconair, which specialised in exporting beef from Ireland to other European countries. Its career was cut short on 30 September 1977 when a propellor malfunction on short final to runway 24 at Shannon led to a deviation from the approach and a crash-landing in a farmer's field across the road. The aircraft was a write-off but all on board walked away.

Displayed at the RAF's 50th anniversary show held at RAF Abingdon wearing the early 1950's markings of No. 601 Squadron. Allocated 7200M. Now at RAF Hendon.

Pre-production Harrier GR.1 used for development work. Crashed in 04.73.

Built in 1946. Operated by the Western Communications Squadron of RAF Air Support Command. Retired a few months after this display and sold as G-AWRS which is now (2018) displayed in the NEAM at Usworth near Sunderland.

Defiant 1 two-seat night fighter with rear gun turret displayed at the RAF's 50th Anniversary show at RAF Abingdon in 1968. Now exhibited at the RAF Museum at Hendon.

This Supermatine Swift FR.5 wears its old 79 Squadron markings when on display at the RAF 50th Anniversary show at RAF Abingdon. Later transferred to the RAF Museum.

Built as a Tempest V by Hawkers at Langley in early 1945. Converted to TT5 postwar. Here repainted in ground attack colours with underwing "D-Day stripes" for the RAF's 50th anniversary display. Now displayed at Hendon.
