D-EFYX pictured at Jesenwang in 2009, stored and still standing on its own gear. In September 2023, it is still there, lying in the grass, but there is some work in progress - seems to become a restoration project now.

Canadair Sabre N186FS performing a fly-past together with N86FS although both had no USAF past they were beautifully restored and painted in USAF markings. Unfortunately N86FS was destroyed in a take-off accident on 26 July 2006 at Hickory Regional Airport (NC).

Beautifull restored Sabre N86FS was built in 1954 under license by Canadair as a Canadair CL-13 Sabre Mk 5 and delivered as 23367 to the RCAF - Royal Canadian Air Force. Painted in USAF markings it was a well known participant in the airshow circuit until 24 July 2006 when the aircraft was destroyed in a take-off incident at Hickory Regional Airport (NC)

This Beech 18 was built as a C-45 in 1944 and delivered to the USAAF as 44-47696. It flew for the USAAF / USAF until the end of the '50s when it was sold and the markings N7381C were applied. It changed hands several times and at the time this picture was taken a Mr Harold Ewing had honour of owning the aircraft. The Beech had recieved its original markings the year before (in 2004) and was and stil is a regular guest at various air shows throughout the USA.

Delivered to the USAAF as 44-73877. To the RCAF as 9279 in 1951. Registered as N6320T in 1958, CF-PCZ in 1963, N167F in 1968, G-SHWN in 2015 and G-CMDK in 2021.

Ex VR-HIU, PI-C651, VH-FCB. RAAF A68-192. Registration cancelled on 20 June 2011 on sale to Germany as D-FBBD. Destroyed when Skyraider F-AZDN collided with it after the Flying Legends Balbo at Duxford on 10 July 2011. The pilot was fortunately able to parachute to safety.

Ex USAAF 42-49413, license built by Howard. Stored for many years at Cosford, but now (2023) stored at a private location in the general area of Sleap aerodrome, Shropshire. The US registration was cancelled on 18 December 2012.

Ex 41-20945 with the USAAC. Became N56047 in April 1956. During my visit I wasn't allowed to take photos with my DSLR, so had to resort to my phone.

Ex N12066, Nicaraguan AF GN-120, 44-72773. Re-registered as G-CDHI on 31 January 2005, and cancelled on 15 November 2007 on sale to Germany as D-FPSI. Seen here with G-BIXL.
