The Fokker D.VII is a German World War I fighter aircraft designed by Reinhold Platz of the Fokker-Flugzeugwerke. Germany produced around 3300 D.VII aircraft in the second half of 1918. In service with the Luftstreitkräfte, the D.VII quickly proved itself to be a formidable aircraft. Surviving aircraft saw much service with many countries in the years after World War I. This example was built by Albatros Flugzeugwerke (AFW) and can be found in Hall 2 of the excellent Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace in Le Bourget.

This Triton was the first French jet-powered aircraft, which was flown in November 1946. A total of five aircraft were produced for the test programme, including one for static testing only. Despite multiple aircraft been built and successfully flown, further development of the SO.6000 was abandoned following the rapid emergence of more advanced jet-powered fighter aircraft. STriton No. 03 F-WFKY is exhibited at Le Bourget. This aircraft incorporates parts from No. 05 F-WFKX.

Morning moonset over the terminal. This building was constructed in 2014, and dedicated in a ceremony on May 25, 2015. It replaced the previous terminal, which was destroyed in a gustnado on July 1, 2012. The airport itself is listed in FAA data as having been activated in July of 1942; at that time it was a military airfield. The name "Warren Field" refers to North Carolina Congressman Lindsay Carter Warren.
