D-EOHG registered Aug-1979. It crashed at Aschaffenburg - Grossostheim 09-Jan-2001 and was cancelled Oct-2001. It was then stored for many years, while being rebuilt using the original fuselage and many new parts. It was finally restored to the register again in Dec-2010. The text on the fuselage reads "Die Rhön einfach erhebend"

Ex USAAF 38-210, restored to flying condition at Chino, CA from 2011 and 2015. First post-restoration flight was in April 2015, as N80FR. Became G-CIXJ in February 2016. Registration N80FR was used on several other Curtiss restorations.

This aircraft was normally displayed in the American Airpower Museum but it had been moved out as the building was being refurbished

D-MNKU has an "H" added to read Kuh which is German for Cow! Also note the glider towing hook. The text above the registration reads "Die Rhön einfach erhebend!" and very small on the nose it says "Drive & Fly Luftfahrt GmbH"
