Wearing her "Commonwealth Games" titles in an early morning shot. In an effort to beat the black tarmac at the old Brisbane International ( which was the bane of a photographers life incidentally ) I took this shot from a set of aircraft stairs to capture more light.

Former US Air Force 44-35444 had a long military career. It served out World War II and in Korea from 1955 - 1953. Transferred to the Republic of China (Taiwan) to fly low level reconnaissance with Black Bat 34th Squadron until 1969. Returned to the USA as N7656C, the bomber came to Canada with Air Spray in 1971. Converted to a fire bomber, it was with Air Spray until 2006. Sold to the Classic Aircraft Aviation Museum, Hillsboro, OR for restoration and display, the aircraft was traded to Taiwan in 2012. It is displayed at the Air Force Museum next to the RoCAF Academy in Kangshan, Taiwan.

Originally Army Air Force 43-22653 became an fire bomber with Idaho Air Tankers, Boise, ID in 1963. Bought by Air Spray in 1981 and used in Western Canada until withdrawn as the A-26s were retired. It was sold in 2014 to the Australian Aviation Museum in Sydney, Australia.

Having flown as PP-SON with VASP, N42782 has just returned to re-enter the Canadian Airlines fleet. Back again as C-FCRE, it would be withdrawn from use in 2000 after the merger with Air Canada. The DC-10 was broken up at Marana, AZ in 2003.

Extremely rare as she was only painted like this for a few days - never delivered to the Portuguese airline and nowadays flies for Avianca as N506NA. Although I took about three rolls they all went quickly and I've often been asked for spares since!

Delivered to America West (N153AW) on April 8, 1986 for lease from the owner International Lease Finance Corp (ILFC). Returned to ILFC August 1991 to become N831LF, it was leased out as N732S to Sierra Pacific Airlines from October 1991 to June 1993. Morris Air came into the picture the same month picking the 737 up on lease and taking it into the merger with Southwest Airlines, where it became N672SW. It was sold to Pinnacle Aircraft Sales January 2008 and the registration finally cancelled in December 2014.

Delivered December 1984, this Metro was with Horizon until December 1997. Bought by JODA LLC and leased to SENMA SA in Argentina from 1998 - 99 and Western Air out of the Bahamas from 2001.

Starting out as G-AZLJ with Aurigny in 1.72, the registration shown here is derived from the aircraft's acquisition by Regency Airways in 1.87. Changed hands several times and to Willow Air in 11.92. With Athens Air as SX-CBN (next upload) for a year from 9.94. Later reverted to G-AZLJ and ended up being parted out at Lydd. No doubt most eyes will fall on the ntu Air Columbus 757 G-IEAD behind...
