Delivered new 9th ferbruary 1961 as L-188A Electra N9646C for Western Airlines.. 1969 converted to L-188A(F) freighter, still for Western. August 18th 1972 LN-MOI Nordic Air. LN-MOI bought by Fred. Olsen August 20th 1973, an rr to LN-FOH August 28th 1973. Op. by FOF in ex Nordic colours until repainted to FOF colours scenod half of 1974. Repainted to these new white FOF colours in 1985. March 1988 it was painted black for the "Air de Cologne" project by SAS Cargo.. FOF colours 1990, flew with TNT stickers in 1991, FOF cs until wfu 01-1997. OE-ILA 03-1998, C-GLBA 07-2007. 60 years of flying-

LN-BRL preparing for departure on a very wet July afternoon. Note how the integrated air stairs are being folded into the storage space under the door. This feature made the 737-200 an aircraft that did not require much in terms of ground equipment at outlying airports.

Delivered to Braathens SAFE in August 1979 as LN-SUB, sold and leased back as part of Braathens SAFE's fleet renewal in the early 1990s. Seen here landing at Røros the day after it was re-registered as N73FS. In November 1993 it went to Carnival, later toto Apple Vacations, TACA in November 1996, Aserca in December 2001 as N235TA before joining Nationwide as ZS-PIU. After Nationwide ceased operations in Aptil 2008 it was stored engineless at Johannesburg and scrapped in May 2012.
