Only one example of the Mystere IV N was built. It was designed as a two seat night fighter version of the Mystere IV, but now with apparent nose radome. The French Air Force chose to buy 60 North American F-86K nightfighters instead!
A large international airshow was held simultaneously at Zürich - Kloten and Dübendorf in1956. The French Escadre de Chasse 12 at Cambrai had three squadrons of Mystère IVAs at this time, including EC 2/12 Picardie.
