slide scan from the NK collection. - This ex-Continental Airlines Viscount was on the British register from 1967 until 1975, and served for Channel Airways, British Air Ferries, and Alidair. Thereafter, it was sold to Far Eastern Air Transport as B-2031.

Leased from Alidair by British Air Ferries between April and October 1973 and still in the former's colours. To B-2031 in 1975.

Built in 1958 for Continental Air Lines where it was N245V. Imported in March 1967 and since June 1972 on charter to Alidair out of East Midlands Airport (EGNX), still in Channel livery. This was taken from the then public viewing area adjacent to taxiways A and B during a visit from Canada. A far cry from the early days when we used to hang out with the Luton spotters wherever we could get away with it.
