Reregistered as N788AL in 1994. To Airborne Express and reregistered as N828AX in 1997. They were renamed to ABX Air in 2003. To Meridian Airways as 9G-AXC in 2009. Grounded at Accra in 2013 by the Ghana CAA and scrapped in 2015.

Once KLM's PH-DEC, this aircraft has been well known in Europe of late flying for Meridian as 9G-AXC. At the beginning of 8.10 the cargo airline was grounded over maintenance shortcomings and the DC-8s are parked at Ostend. Was operated by TransCon from 5.89 to 12.90; converted to freighter 7.91 and flew as both N787AL and N788AL for ATI then N828AX with Airbourne Express. Ended up as 9G-AXA with Meridian and ferried to Accra after storage at Ostend in 9.11 but grounded by Ghana CAA at the end of 2013
