Originally a C-131E and allocated USAF serial 57-2548, but not delivered and went to the FAA as N101 then N91 as an airways calibration aircraft. Became N6226M in 1996 then cancelled as destroyed in 1997. (According to the Joe Baugher website, this and its sister ships were not legally considered as Convair products, but actually certified by Allison Prop Jet Conversions and Pacific Airmotive. This explains why they were not usable commercially after retirement and any civil registrations were for ferry purposes as for this one and for c/n 478 which used C-FJVD.)

Built in 1979 and here in service with the Province of Alberta. Current and based at Saskatoon (CYXE) with Transwest Air in 2022.

This scruffy looking aircraft belonged to Cargolux and was regularly leased out, hence its somewhat less attractive appearance. It was ex American Airlines and National Airlines N9666. In October 1987 it went to United Airlines as N156UA. I photographed as such at Frankfurt in July 1993 looking much healthier than in this picture.

Acquired Mar 84 ex KLM PH-DEC. To TCA - Trans Continental Airlines May 89 as N820TC and several more operators after that.

To Air Nelson Mar 92. Ended up with IBC Airways in Jul 2008 as N671BC. Seen still operating with them 24 Sep 2020 (GCM-MIA).

Ended its career in Canada with Bearskin Airlines then Perimeter Aviation as C-FYAG. Only retired circa 2019.

Originally built for Union Carbide in 1959 as N42Q and here with the Quebec Provincial air service since 1973. In 2000 it became 3C-QQB and was ferried to Southend (EGMC) where it was eventually scrapped.
