Built for Continental Airlines as N254V in 1959 and sold to Channel Airways as G-ATVE in May 1966. Leased to short lived Treffield International between January 1967 and June 1967 when it was repossessed by Channel Airways. Continued to serve with them until withdrawn from use in October 1969 and broken up at Southend in June 1972. The nose was preserved, initially by the Historic Aircraft Museum at Southend and subsequently by various collections in Germany. Still extant at 50.633124N 7.216180E in 2021.

Had been moved to the scrapping area at Southend on 14th August 1972 and would be broken up by early September. The nose section was displayed in the Historic Aircraft Museum at Southend in BMA colours. After the museum closed in 1983 it moved to Düsseldorf where it was exhibited for a couple of years on the former observation deck. It later went to Stuttgart and Seifertshofen, and by 2016 it was exhibited in Bad Honnef. It was still there by 2022.

Awaiting the breakers with 4 other ex-Channel A/W Viscounts following the airline's demise in February 1972. WFU on 26th October 1969, stored and broken up late August/early September 1972 and the forward fuselage section was donated to the Historic Aircraft Museum (Southend).

Here on delivery ferry and in 1966 it returned and became G-ATVE with Channel Airways. It was withdrawn from use at Southend (EGMC) in October 1969 and scrapped by June 1972.

This Viscount was originally delivered to Continental as N254V in April 1959. It also flew for Channel Airways but was retired in October 1969).
