At this time, the unit had just been transferred to Coastal Command and from Wigsley to Leuchars to train for torpedo bombing. AT137 had been delivered to the squadron in November 1941. Was being delivered to Russia on 5th September 1942 when it was shot down by German Bf109s near the Finnish/Russian border. All five crew bailed out safely and became prisoners of war. Remains recovered in 2002 and brought to the museum.
