Delivered to the USAF as 52-166. To the US Navy and retired at China Lake, CA by 1966. Made the last flight of a B-47 to Castle AFB for the Castle Air Museum in 1986.

Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB in 1964. Remains scrapped in 1990.

Delivered to the USAF as 51-2387 in 1953. To the USAF Museum for preservation around 1967 and preserved at Oklahoma State Fairgrounds from 1971. Moved to the Kansas Aviation Museum, Wichita-McConnell KS in 2007.

Preserved by route 62 heading East out of Altus since 1961.

B-47E-35-LM Stratojet Later converted to EB-47L. Seen at the National Air Show in Philadelphia, September 1955. From 1957 to late 1959 I maintained the ECM equipment on these and RB-47 E's at Lockbourne AFB in Columbus, Ohio.

Used as a JB-47E fly-by-wire test aircraft. To the Museum in 1969. Moved to Kirtland AFB, NM in 2013.

26 Mar 1956: TOS USAF; assigned to 308th Bombardment Wing, Hunter AFB, GA. Unknown date: 98th BW, Lincoln AFB, NE, from which it made its last flight on 7 Dec 1965. It landed at Wichita Airport and turned over to the Mayor. 12/69: Mounted on concrete pole on the west side of town. 16 Mar 1988:Transferred to McConnell AFB, KS, in the charge of the 184th BW. They did some basic restoration and mounted the plane on short pedestals on the base. 7/99: Removed from the pedestals and taken to a hangar for a thorough restoration. 10/99: Moved to a new position in the McConnell Air Park on Rock Road.

23 Mar 53: TOS USAF as B-47E; sent to Grand Central Aircraft Corp., Tucson, AZ, for mods. 10 Dec 53: 68th BW, Chennault AFB, Lake Charles, LA. By 2/56: 341st BW, Dyess AFB, TX. 8/58: 2nd BW, Hunter AFB, GA. 7/59: 22nd BW, March AFB, CA. 2/60: 4347th Combat Crew Training Wing, McConnell AFB, KS. 25 Apr 63: Lockheed Aircraft; converted to WB-47E. 1963: 56th Weather Recon Sqdn, Yakota AB, Japan. 1966: Air Force Museum Loan Program. 1971: Oklahoma State Fairgrounds, Oklahoma City. Ca.6/07: Kansas Aviation Museum, Wichita McConnell Airport, KS.

Preserved in the city of Altus along Interstate 62
