Ca.1944: TOS USAAF as UC-45F 44-47377. 1953: Remanufactured as C-45G s/n 51-11740. Ca.1957: Converted to C-45H. 1965: Registered N9944Z. By 1966: Volpar, Inc, Van Nuys CA, with c/r N349V; remanufactured into a Turboliner. 1979: Registered N404TH.

The airframe was re-manufactured as a C-45G by Beech at Wichita from an AT-7 Navigator and later converted with the Volpar Tri-Gear. It was living on borrowed time when photographed as on 24th March 1978 it suffered an engine failure during a flight from Nassau to Fort Lauderdale and forced to ditch offshore.

Originally built as UC-45F 44-47377 and later re-manufactured as C-45G 51-11740. Converted to C-45H and sold onto the civilian market as N9944Z in 1965. Later conversion to a PAC Aero Tradewind was not completed and the aircraft was sold to Volpar, completed as a Volpar Turboliner and registered N349V. Flown by several operators since then including Priority Air Transport, Caribbean Island Airways, Troy Air, Kalitta Air Services and Jackson MS. based Jim Hankins Air Service. Re-registered N404TH in 1979 and N404CK in 1990. Operating in Alaska with Northern Aviation/TransNorthern since 2010.

This Beechcraft C-45G-BH is the former 51-11737. The NTSB has a record of a mishap in West Palm Beach, Florida on 24 September 1967.

Remanufactured by Beech from T-7 42-2419, c/n 4244 to C-45G 51-11479 for the USAF in 1952. To N2802G in 1960 and converted to the prototype Volpar Trigear. Cancelled from the register in 1981.

Remanufactured by Beech from T-11 42-36908 c/n 3288 to C-45G 51-11870 for the USAF in 1953. To N9605C then to N504N in 1959 and converted to a trigear. The damage to its nose was repaired. It ended up in a scrapyard at Owasso, OK in 2000.
