The airframe was re-manufactured as a C-45G by Beech at Wichita from an AT-7 Navigator and later converted with the Volpar Tri-Gear. It was living on borrowed time when photographed as on 24th March 1978 it suffered an engine failure during a flight from Nassau to Fort Lauderdale and forced to ditch offshore.
