Unfortunately the San Diego Air & Space Museum has little information with the photos in its collections. The vehicles makes it clear that this one was taken in Italy, and the Boeing 727 with '727' on the tail is a real smoking (pun intended) gun. It is demonstrator N7003U and oddly an old Portuguese newspaper report reveals that it visited Fiumicino circa 1 October 1963. Photo from: San Diego Air & Space Museum
Just of the main entry road to the Entebbe International airport, is a tiny side road leading to the Aero Beach Club. Party place on the shores of Lake Victoria. The garden is filled with remains from the airport across the road. Objects include this former Alitalia Caravelle 6. Not in the best state of preservation however.
