Preserved at some kind of thrift store in Neptunia, this F27 is a real eyecatcher.

Former LN-SUW. Flew for the Uruguayan Air Force with civil registration CX-BHV to operate flights for PLUNA. For a few years it rests at a scrapyard in the 35th Km. of the Ruta Interbalnearia just east of Montevideo in the town of Neptunia. It is a local attraction and the place is known as "El Avión" or "The plane" among locals.

Climbing out of Ovda AB for another training sortie, this F-15C Baz was delivered to Israel under the Peace Fox III FMS program. It carried US FY # 83-0060 and is assigned to 106 SQN "Spearhead" based in Tel Nof. The grey F-15's of 106 & 133 SQN each carry an individual a/c name painted on the nose section, this one is called "Tzedek" in hebrew, meaning "Jupiter". It is seen here "armed" with a blue Python 3 practice missile under the wing and an IAI/ELTA EL/L-8222 electronic countermeasure pod on the LH forward station.

This Fishbed-J is preserved at this very friendly little airfield.

Converted from C-47B to VC-47D in 1950. Later converted to BT-67 in 1994.
